Occupational Therapist – Brisbane North


We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Brisbane North team and service our Inner North Brisbane caseload on a permanent full time basis. Graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for the role.

This high performing team currently provides services to North of the Brisbane river as far north as Caboolture. Services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Social Work, all of which can be provided in our service centre, home or community.

To join the team, you’ll need (selection criteria):

  • Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Prior experience in paediatrics and working with people with autism is preferred.  Montrose will support experienced therapists who want to make a transition to paediatric practice.

To be considered for this role, you must also have:

  • Current CPR certificate (or able to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Current or be eligible to apply for a Working with Children Check (blue card) & Disability Services positive notice card (yellow card).
  • Excellent administration, attention to detail & computer skills.

Direct Support Workers – Multiple Locations

We regularly recruit Direct Support Workers for customers in a number of areas.


Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to meet the physical requirements of providing support as a Direct Support Worker.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the care needs of customers with complex needs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professional practice in the support of individual’s rights and choices
  • Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality in a working environment
  • Current ‘C’ class Australian driver’s licence.
  • Ability to use and access a range of ICT systems and media
  • Be eligible to apply for a working with children check (blue card) and an exemption notice (yellow card) through The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services
  • Be an Australian or NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have a relevant visa.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Personal care assistance and manual handling.
  • Plan and implement and support recreational and community based activities.
  • Maintain and update customer files.
  • General light domestic duties.
  • Support of home based therapy programs (In-Home support).
