Occupational Therapist – GOLD COAST & NORTHERN NSW

Permanent Part-Time Position

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist with experience in ASD to join our team and service our Gold Coast and Northern NSW caseload 3 days per week. This role is permanent part-time, with the possibility of becoming full-time as caseload increases.

Services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology all of which can be provided in our Service Centre, clinics, home or community.

To join the team, you’ll need (selection criteria):

  • Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Prior experience in paediatrics and working with people with autism is preferred.  Montrose will support experienced therapists who want to make a transition to paediatric practice.

To be considered for this role, you must also have:

  • Current CPR certificate (or able to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.

  • Design, implement and evaluate interventions for children and young adults with physical and other associated disabilities, developmental delay and / or autism.

Service Centre Manager – BRISBANE AND SURROUNDING

Permanent Full-Time Position

We need a Service Centre manager to assist with our service centres in and around Brisbane, primarily supporting centre-based Managers in driving financial performance, leading our team of professional clinicians and supporting staff with day-to-day tasks and activities. You’ll drive a high performance culture through excellent people management including mentoring and coaching. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and you will follow a “know your customer” methodology. To ensure centres are running at a profit, you will participate in business development activities and work to improve productivity to ensure all SE Queensland centres meet customer and income targets.

To have a chat with us about this role you must have:

  • Tertiary qualification in business, human services or other relevant field.
  • High level of experience in an administrative role.
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is an advantage.
  • Financial skills including budgeting, monitoring performance, and the ability to forecast income and expenses.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of services to customers and exceed quality service expectations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying human resource management strategies to manage and develop a team.
  • Ability to implement change and improvements to work practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining external stakeholders.
