Montrose centres to remain open as providers of essential services
You may have seen that the Queensland Government has announced a three day lock down for people living in Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Moreton and Brisbane council areas starting from 5pm tonight (Monday 29 March 2021).
The lock down allows people in impacted areas to leave their home for essential services including to access medical and healthcare needs. As Montrose is a provider of an essential healthcare services you are still able to visit all Montrose centres during this time. We will update you for any changes to schools, clinics and hydrotherapy if we are unable to access these facilities.
We are here to support you and keen to see you in-person for your next appointment. If you prefer to stay at home during this time we can also deliver services via TeleTherapy. You can contact a member of our team on 1800 193 362 to learn more or to discuss transitioning to a TeleTherapy appointment.
Our Short Stay Service Our Getaway on the Gold Coast will continue to operate and we will be in contact if there are any changes required to your booking, based on government guidelines.
Below is an update of what we are doing to help keep you and your family safe during this time.
PPE reintroduced in ALL Centres
In line with the Queensland Government directive Montrose will re-instate PPE as per below:
If a parent or carer will be accompanying a client they will also be required to wear a mask. We understand that the use of PPE can cause concern for some clients. We have a social story/ photobook to help here (pdf). This can be used by parents to prepare your child for their next visit and let them know they may see our staff wearing a mask or other PPE as required.
