Our Day Programs offer a great mix of fun activities and skill development for young people 16+ with a disability. We have programs running every day from our dedicated meeting room and kitchen at Darra. They are available as a Program of Support under the NDIS.
Cooking doesn’t have to be complicated or hard. With the right basic skills and a few handy recipes, you can create healthy meals in your kitchen with confidence. You’ll learn so much at our Make & Bake Program!
There’s always something fun to do when you are out and about! Activities include Community Garden access, Sport: Cricket in the park, Basketball, soccer, Tennis, Putt Putt and more.
Learn to find your way around the kitchen. This popular class shows you what’s involved in healthy eating. It takes you through everything from planning and shopping for nutritious meals through to food preparation and safety.
Get your pump on! Grab your gym gear and join this group for a fun, intensive gym workout. Each participant will develop and work on their own personalised gym program. Get active, get sweaty and have fun.
You’ll look forward to our weekly social group! It’s a chance to meet new friends and enjoy hanging out. Most importantly, you can have a say in what you’ll do! Bring your sense of fun and plenty of ideas!

Our Lifestyle room at Darra is large and easily navigated by wheelchair users. It offers a comfortable space for activities with adjustable tables, open kitchen and an accessible bathroom.
Our team have lots of experience working with people with physical disability, autism and other additional support needs and can help you get the most out of your choice of activity. Support is usually provided on a 1:2 basis.

Our Day Programs are available as a Program of Support under the NDIS. A Program of Support shows the supports that will be received by a participant over a specific period with an aim of helping help participants achieve specific goals.
Programs of Support run in blocks. If you cancel or do not attend on the day, you will be charged. You will need to provide 2 weeks’ notice if you decide to withdraw from the program completely.
