We acknowledge the need for learning and provide a program that enables new graduates to develop skills and confidence early in their career.

Graduate Opportunities are available across OT, Speech and Physiotherapy.

Simone tells us about starting her career as a Speech Pathologist with Montrose.

Program Summary

Each new graduate therapist will have access to:

  • Multidisciplinary Induction session
  • Discipline specific induction session
  • 10- week webinar program targeting new graduate learning needs
  • Bi-monthly new graduate meetings
  • Weekly supervision sessions
  • 2- 3 days to shadow experienced therapists

This is in addition to support from your Service Manager/ Team Leader, professional time embedded into every day, current IT equipment to assist in doing your job, and the informal support provided from your Multidisciplinary team!

While participating in our new graduate program, you will start your clinical journey by meeting clients and running therapy sessions. We build your caseload gradually to ensure you feel supported while developing your therapy skills.

We believe our new graduate program enables you to consolidate and grow your early career skills, through the right mix of support and opportunity to assist our clients in achieving their goals.

Montrose clients

Montrose works mostly with paediatric and young adult clients with disability or developmental delay. Many join us soon after diagnosis and stay with Montrose throughout their childhood and into adulthood.

Our clients have a wide variety of disabilities and goals meaning that every day is different at Montrose!

Montrose therapists have given my daughter the power and belief that she can achieve her goals.

Montrose went above and beyond to help us in a very desperate time. We could not have moved forward without their input and I am eternally grateful
