Physiotherapist - Toowoomba

We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified Physiotherapist to help service and grow our new centre in the Darling Downs regions. The rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across Queensland is enabling us to help more people reach their goals through therapy and support services. This position will join an existing team to provide services to people in our centres, at their home or in the community. Travel throughout the region including to Warwick and Ipswich is an expectation of this role to ensure customer’s needs are met.

This position is available to commence now and will be working from the new centre in Bowen Street, Toowoomba. Montrose is seeking applications for this role from professionals with strong paediatric experience and/or team management skills.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Design, implement and evaluate interventions for children and young adults with physical and other associated disabilities, developmental delay and / or autism.
  • Provide evidence based therapy to achieve customer goals within available resources.
  • Provide discipline specific assessments.
  • Achieving customer goals within the available resources.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders – customers, families, referrers and colleagues to address agreed outcomes.
  • Caseload management and activity reporting.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current relevant registration.
  • Prior experience in disability management and/or paediatrics is preferred. Montrose will support experienced therapists who want to make a transition to paediatric practice.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Current CPR certificate (or able to obtain prior to commencement).
