Community Access and Skills Development Coordinator – Darra

Permanent part time

We are looking for a suitably experienced Community Access and Skills Development Coordinator to manage the operations of the Lifestyle, Skills and Development program at our Brisbane South head office on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week).

Let’s start with the basics. To have a chat with us about this role you must have:

  • Previous experience in a Service Co-ordination or Case Management role;
  • Previous experience supervising, supporting and training staff;
  • Previous experience managing budgets
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Current ‘C’ class driver’s license.
  • Be eligible to apply for a working with children check (blue card) and an exemption notice (yellow card) through The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services.
  • Be an Australian or NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have a relevant visa.

Team Assistant – Ipswich

Permanent full time

We are currently seeking a switched on, customer focused and experienced Administrator to join the team at our Ipswich service centre on a permanent full-time basis.

You will be required to provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers whilst providing high level support to our team of Allied Health Professionals.

This key role incorporates a diverse range of tasks including:

  • Reception and direct customer service
  • Taking payments
  • Appointment booking for centre based and community based services
  • Managing customer information and data entry in the client management system
  • Overseeing some of the day to day operations of the service centre.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ie clinical or allied health practice, work in disability sector
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Current or be eligible to apply for a Working with Children Check (blue card) & Disability Services positive notice card (yellow card).
  • Excellent administration, attention to detail & computer skills.

Psychologist – Ipswich

Permanent part time

We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified Psychologist to support our customers and help grow our Ipswich services. The role will be based in Raceview 3 days a week (preferably Tue, Wed and Fri but flexible).

  1. Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Psychology and current registration with AHPRA (either general or provisional registration).

Occupational Therapist – Brisbane South

We are looking for a part time Occupational Therapist for 3 days week based at our Darra office.

Speech Pathologist – Brisbane North

Part-Time Maternity Cover (9 months)

We are currently seeking a qualified and suitably experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Brisbane North team on a part time basis (3 days p/w) for a 9-month maternity cover contract. New graduates are welcome to apply!

This high performing team currently provides services to the Strathpine region, south to the Brisbane River and as far north as Caboolture. Services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Social Work, all of which can be provided in our service centre, home or community.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Design, implement and evaluate interventions for children and young adults with physical and other associated disabilities, developmental delay and / or autism.
  • Provide evidence based therapy to achieve customer goals within available resources.
  • Provide discipline specific assessments.
  • Achieving customer goals within the available resources.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders – customers, families, referrers and colleagues to address agreed outcomes.
  • Caseload management and activity reporting.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to meet the physical requirements of providing support as a Direct Support Worker.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the care needs of customers with complex needs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated professional practice in the support of individual’s rights and choices
  • Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality in a working environment
