Getting Involved

There are a number of ways you can get involved with MontroseAccess including volunteering, making a donation or becoming a sponsor.

Community Support

MontroseAccess relies on government grants and independent fundraising sources in order to deliver services to approximately 600 clients per annum. We continue to provide services even though we are not adequately funded to do so. In fact, we must supplement the government’s funding by nearly $3,200 per client per annum!

Fortunately, some of the required supplementary funding is generously donated to us through individual giving, benefactors, bequests and fundraising appeals, however more funds are always needed.

Challenge yourself and become an Everyday Hero

MontroseAccess has joined forces with Everyday Hero to allow you to create your own personal fundraising page. The online fundraising site allows you to set your own personal challenge and receive sponsorship from your friends, family or colleagues, with all proceeds being donated to MontroseAccess.

Why not get your school or workplace involved too?

Ideas for challenges include:

- entering a sporting event (Bridge to Brisbane, The Gold Coast Marathon, School event)

- Giving up for a month (alcohol, caffeine, Play Station)

- Why not come up with your own challenge?

Become a Member

Did you know that MontroseAccess is a member based Society? Becoming a member enables individuals to attend General Meetings, including the AGM, and vote on recommendations. It's also a way for interested persons and parents to contribute to our organisation. Current membership fees are $10 per annum or $300 for life membership.
